GEM-2M Mobile Connectivity Support

If you find that your Proroute GEM2M 4G Router is not connecting to the mobile network at all, or is taking a long time to connect then there are several things you should check which we outline in the video below.

You should ensure :-

  • that both Cellular Antennas are connected
  • that the correct APN setting has been entered
  • that the network monitoring is correctly configured (or for the purposes of testing disable network monitoring)
  • check the mobile status page to confirm the router can see the SIM card and detect the mobile network and check the status page for signal strength

If the router does not connect then you will need to submit a support ticket and send screen shots of :-

  • Status Page
  • Mobile Status Page
  • Mobile Configuration Page (APN settings Page) including network monitoring section
